Mother's Day Weaving workshop

Magpie Goose x Durban Bagii : No Waste Fabric Jewellery Making Workshop

We are a slow-fashion brand conscious of our environmental footprint so all fabric scraps are kept for repurposing..  And what better way than to create gorgeous fashion accessories!

Carly Wallace is the creator behind Durban Bagii which translates to 'carrying bags' in Yidiny language. She is a Dulguburra Yidinji woman from Yungaburra in Far North Queensland, now residing in Meeanjin/ Magandjin (Brisbane). Carly uses weaving and jewellery making as an act of mindfulness, connection, conversations and healing.

Reserve your spot today to practice weaving techniques and create special handcrafted accessories to take home. This is an ally-friendly workshop and we welcome both Aboriginal people and the broader community to participate.
